Dr. Heiner Kromer - Chairman & CEO
Dr. Heiner Kromer is the founder and CEO of SECUDE AG. He brings over 30 years of experience as founder, partner, and CEO of high technology companies ranging over 18 years in scientific instruments, bio-tech, and specialty chemicals, and over 10 years in consumer products. His experience combined with his leadership and entrepreneurial skills, as well as his willingness to pursue opportunities, are the engines that propel SECUDE AG forward to become a force in this industry. He studied economics at the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg and holds a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Zurich.
Klaus Neubuerger - Group CFO
Mr. Klaus Neubuerger is responsible for finance, audit, and legal affairs of SECUDE AG. He brings over 20 years of experience in international enterprises such as Pirelli, British Thermoplastics & Rubber (BTR) and the US-based MagneTek Group. Mr. Neubuerger speaks German, English, Italian and French, skills which are very valuable to SECUDE as a global company.
Holger Hinzmann
As Executive Vice President (Sales & Marketing, DACH), Mr. Holger Hinzmann is incharge of SECUDE’s sales and marketing activities for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Mr. Hinzmann has been with SECUDE for over eight years and his professional expertise covers the IT security business.
Academically, having a technical background with specialization in Information Technology, he has successfully mapped his academic credentials to his career in sales and marketing in the IT domain. Mr. Hinzmann has worked as the Key Account Manager with SECUDE during when he had successfully taken additional responsibility for sales, local events and marketing initiatives.
Michael Kummer
As Executive Vice President Mr. Michael Kummer spearheads SECUDE’s push into the North American market. Before taking over this responsibility, Michael had been in charge of SECUDE’s product management and business development for the past 5 years in Switzerland and the United States.
Michael has a decade-long history with the IT industry going back to his days in the Austrian Army. As an innovative and independent thinker with a broad knowledge of security-related technologies, Michael is on the front lines working to bridge the gap between R&D and the market.
Working as a product manager for the past several years, Michael has been at the forefront of SECUDE’s efforts to develop smart data protection technologies. He has moved from Austria to Switzerland to the United States. He is married and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
SV Kannan
Mr. SV Kannan is the Chief Operating Officer of SECUDE India and has been with the organization since the past five years. He heads the Indian operations.
Mr. Kannan has vast experience spanning over 25 years during which period he has had exposure in many specialities such as Software Engineering, Startup Strategy, Product Development, Managing large teams and People Management. He has handled diverse responsibilities that range from Product Development, Enhancements, Implementation and centralized support of a complete suite of ERP solutions globally to building a delivery organization from scratch to a team of 300 highly technical resources.
On the academic side, Mr. Kannan holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Madras, India.
Kenny Nguyen
Mr. Kenny Nguyen is the Managing Director of SECUDE Vietnam. He has held various marketing positions within SECUDE since 2008. Prior to working with SECUDE, he had worked in organizational studies research, retail operations, and non-profit youth outreach programs.
Mr. Nguyen studied business administration and environmental economics at the University of California, Berkeley.
Ismael Soong
Mr. Ismael Soong is the Managing Director of SECUDE AG’s Asia and Middle East operations and is based in Singapore. He joined Secude in September 2009. He holds a law degree and a master’s degree from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mr. Soong has a broad background in venture capital, high-tech start-up companies and business development.
Prior to joining SECUDE, he worked for a company based in Dubai and as a consultant in East Asia. Mr. Soong speaks Chinese, English and German.
